So I have really been trying to find a way to organize all the girls' stuff a little better so they can actually have room to play IN their bedrooms. Yes, they do have a big play room upstairs and half of my office/craft room is home to their toy kitchen. Yes, they do have toys in the living room, but sometimes, it's nice to be able to play in your own room.
Alli and Piper have been sharing the smaller bedroom with the bigger closet and Gabbie, who doesn't spend much time in there had the bigger room. My solution...switch rooms and they can all share the big closet! That's how I came up with my blog name!
The transition started today, and will hopefully wrap up tomorrow. I am going to be doing some moving around of things in the playroom too. Hopefully it will help the flow of things.
There are quite a few toys that the big girls haven't played with in a while that Gabbie will start playing with soon. That will help with the feeling of them just taking up space.
Anyway I was excited to come with a name. I told Michael and his response, "Oh. I thought you lost your blog or something." I could totally put anything on here and he wouldn't have a clue. Oh how I love him.

Merry Christmas!
A day later, but still good! I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating with friends and family. Our celebrations were definitely filled with lots of love and happiness! The girls got spoiled, but it was all within practical reason this year.
Thursday evening we celebrated with my mom's family. That's usually were the excessiveness comes in, but it was all very reasonable.
Friday morning we celebrated with my father's family. It was a wonderful time seeing family that we don't get to see as often. It's always so touching to see the joy that great-grandchildren bring!
On the way back I got pulled over for my tag. I knew it was expired, but I had misplaced the paperwork to get it taken care of. I knew it was bad, but I was thinking ticket at the worst. When the guy told me he was considering impounding my car, it was all I could do to not have a huge meltdown. Thankfully, I didn't even get a written warning.
My mom and sister followed me home. We stopped at the McDonalds at the midway and my car dies. Thankfully, I had jumper cables and my mom was able to jump me. I backed into the garage in case I need jumped again when I go to start it.
I think I might have a bit of an emotional meltdown that night. I thought I was getting sick with the shivering and aching. Thankfully I was still able to perform my duties as Santa's helper!
Piper was up way to early, especially for staying up until almost midnight. She didn't try to get into anything, she just wanted some time with her daddy. Her excitement caused Gabbie to wake up which made it hard for me to get things ready for our day.
Allie slept in until 930. Then they opened stockings and played with presents from the trip. My mom and Ksty got here a little after 11 and then the preparations for Christmas dinner began. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, homemade noodles, corn, green beans, deviled eggs, rolls, pumpkin pie and banana split cake. It was all pretty decent for my first time hosting, if I do say so myself. At least no one said anything if there was something that needed improvement.
The only downside has been the uber stuffed up noses and the copious amounts of snot everyone is dealing with. The two little girls are also dealing with coughs. Gabbie has had a couple of nights where it has interrupted our sleep.
I keep trying to help clear her out with saline, but she keeps getting choked up on all the drainage. So today we stayed home because I really don't want her to pick up anything else. I'm adding a few pictures to show how Gabbie wraps the men in our family around her little finger!

I'm jealous
I'm jealous of those who have a best friend. Don't get me wrong, Michael is my absolute best friend and I am very thankful for him. I couldn't be the parent I am without him. I'm jealous of those that have a best friend other than your significant other. Sure I have a few close friends who I can talk to, but one has enough going on right now that she doesn't want to hear me whine about not getting the chance to just cuddle with my husband without a toddler coming in crawling in between us.
My sister is not a good source of support in anything related to marriage or parenting. My aunt has enough on her plate with having to parent her 30-year-old going on 15-year-old daughter and raising her 2 kids and mentally and emotionally preparing for another grand baby she will end up raising.
I'm jealous of those who have a friend they can text about their potty training 2-year-old who pulls off a poopy pull-up and then run around the house with a dirty bum, or just wrote on your couch for the 5th time with marker that's not going to come out. I'm jealous of those who have a friend who will text you similar stories letting you know you aren't alone.
I'm jealous of those who have a friend who they can cry to about being a terrible mom after coming to the probable conclusion that all those little fevers were probably indicating ear infections that you blew off as nothing and now it seems like the reason she isn't speaking well is because she is probably hearing everything muffled and now we have to build up a case to probably get tubes in her ears. I'm jealous that I don't have someone who can share stories about how they feel that they have failed somewhere in the parenting department.
I know, I know, I need to put my big girl panties on and just deal with it. With Michael working through yet another holiday and finding out last night that he actually had time off because of requesting it off last year, having a relationship that I'm very close to going through a huge blow, and having a few people that I need to tell to grow up and quit thinking about only themselves, because no one else want to it, I just long for someone not involved in any or all of it to talk to. Having a sassy 4-year-old who has decided that it's ok to tell me things like, "you can't tell me no," and "I'm getting tired of you," are just icing to the sour cake.
At least I almost always get smiles from this little blessing.

My mess
Anyone want to take a guess as to which child this is going to be about? If you guessed Piper, you would be correct. Everyone says she acts like a middle child, I don't disagree, I just think it's funny she's always had these traits. Even before we decided to have Gabbie.
Anyway, Piper is indeed our mess. She loves to test the boundaries, not to be bad, just to see how far she can go. Right now at 11:12 pm she is laying next to me wiggling a foot trying to keep herself awake. The only way I could get her off the potty was to tell her she could come lay down with me. If Gabbie had been asleep, then I could have battled and risked waking up both of the other girls, but Gabbie was awake and it wasn't worth it.
Friday we have an appointment with Sooner Start to see if we can figure out why her verbal skills aren't as far along as we feel they should be. We weren't too concerned about and planned on waiting a few months, but she is starting to get frustrated with not being able to get her thoughts out.
That seems like it rambles. Sorry! Here's a picture of my mess to help you get past it. :-)

Long week
It's Michael week to work. It's been a long week. I need to learn to not let the little things bother me. Unfortunately, I'm not always good at it.
Tonight, I got to call poison control. For my dog. The only time I ever have to call poison control seems to be for the dogs. Tonight he found not one, but two dirty diapers and tore them apart. Luckily they were just wet or else I'm sure I would have puked. My biggest concern was that he busted open all the little absorber things. It's a valid concern. We now play the waiting came to see if he consumed any and if they expand. Please pray all is well, because a) I can't deal with a sick fur baby right now and neither can the girls. Allisyn still prays and reminds God to take care of Max and to put his medicine in peanut butter so he will take it better. B) our budget really not appreciate the kind of expense it would take to treat this kind of incident.
Why oh why does all the fun stuff happen when Michael has to work? I'm not too concerned really. Forrest has a pretty resilient digestive track. He's eaten walls, and linoleum, and a chlorine tablet left by a negligent pool guy in Tucson. I shall just pray that this too will not cause any problems.

Milestones
I had one today! I know most of my mommy friends are going to think, what kind of mom are you? I'll tell you, I'm blessed! Today was the first time I have taken any of our girls to a well-baby visit without Michael. I even knew she was going to get shots. It was either do it on my own, or wait a week until Michael could go without the big girls. I did good! I did not even get teary-eyed when she got her shots! This is big for me. I HATE it when my babies have to get shots. Anyway, that's my parenting milestone.
Gabbie's latest milestones are, turning 4 months, rolling over, her ability to carry on a "conversation," her first encounter with a cat. Tiger always seems to be the sucker who gets this task. He secretly loves it. He could just leave, but he never does. He keeps coming back for more!
Piper's latest is going #2 in the potty! This was huge because it meant she didn't have to get in her pooping position. Overall, potty training is still hit and miss with her. We are letting her lead, because she started it.
Alli is getting smarter and smarter! She's spelling and writing more and more words everyday! It's so amazing watching them learn and to see how excited they get about showing you there new skills.
I was gonna blog some more, but Gabbie just woke up and needs momma! Darned shots are making her cranky.

Thankful
I know this is "late" for a Thanksgiving post, but I'm always thankful for my many blessings and I just wanted to share a few!
I'm thankful for God and all that he has given me. I'm thankful I can live in a country that I can share that love and not have to fear persecution. I'm thankful for my church family who helps me in my journey towards heaven.
I'm extremely thankful for my husband. He loves me and gives and gives and gives to me and our three blessings. I'm so thankful for our daughters who bring us such joy and happiness. I'm thankful that our family is solid. Not saying it's a cookies and cupcakes, but I wouldn't change anything. I'm thankful that Michael puts up with me and my crazy ideas and my horrible habits.
I'm thankful for my family, and the support they give me. (Much love to those of you who read!!) No matter what trials we face, we always support each other and carry each other through the hard times.
I'm thankful for my friends.
I'm thankful for our health.
I'm thankful that I am overly blessed with a comfortable life. We do not want for anything we need, and have an excess of things we don't.
I have a lot to be thankful for!

Some pictures
These are all from my phone, so the quality isn't the best. The first 2 are showing that the love for the new baby sister is still going strong!
Our beautiful Alli who has taken to wanting to pose for every picture.
Our fun-loving Piper enjoying some fun at the park before it turned cold.
The last two are examples of Gabbie wrapping her Uncle Jacob and great-grandma Mozie tightly around her little finger. They all love it of course.
