Where did November go?

It was here, and now it is the last day and it is almost gone! I'm afraid to blink in case I miss December. We went home for almost a week this past week for Thanksgiving. My little mess named Piper lived up to her title. She poured out my grandmother's Scentsy warmer all over her wall, and she peeled wallpaper off my grandpa's kitchen. I was NOT happy with her. Thankfully great grandparents don't get phased by too much that their great grandchildren do. They were happy with an apology. Unfortunately my step-grandma wasn't home so she couldn't get an apology. I'm pretty sure she will care a little bit more than my grandpa.

Allisyn had one of her extreme tantrums. It wasn't pretty, but we survived it.

Our neighbor came over last night to complain about the yappy little rat dog barking all night. Michael explained that we had been gone and he couldn't leave the dogs inside for 13-14 hours. He was understanding and the dogs spent the night inside last night. Until 4 am when she needed to go out.

I got a letter in the mail today that says I have to go to court in March in regards to an accident I was involved in over 4 years ago. It was my fault, no one is denying it. The guy is just trying to get more out of the insurance company than they feel he deserves. I just wish they would deal with it so I don't have to do anything with it anymore. Do they really think I like reliving the accident in my MIL's car on my 2nd anniversary with my 6-week-old baby in the car? Because I really don't.

Miss Gabbie is doing really well. She took my cousin Jacob this past week. He is home for the first time in 3 years. He will be home for Christmas too! We are really excited about that! He's stationed in Alaska right now and in June will be transferring to Hawaii. Tough stuff right?

I'll try to do a picture post soon. I know you all LOVE to see the girls! :-)

Today...

Could have been better. Piper woke up at 1:30 needing to go to the bathroom. This was after not making any attempt at all to go during the day. It took her about 2 hours to go back to sleep. Meaning I was up for over 2 hours as well. I had my alarm set to get us up and ready to go and as soon as it went off, Gabbie decided she needed to nurse, and nurse, and nurse some more. Michael came home and brought breakfast from Braum's since he had to stop and get milk. I ate mind in bed while Gabbie was doing her marathon nursing. Alli had breakfast with her daddy and got dressed and all ready for church.

I got clothes ready for Piper and Gabbie and Michael stayed up to help me get everyone ready. I had a sinus headache but I was determined we were going make it. Then we woke up Piper. We gave her a few minutes to try to wake up before we threw in the towel because it was clear she was not going to be awake enough and in a good enough mood for me to handle on my own. So we stayed home. It ended up being for the better because my headache came close to having me hugging the toilet. Thankfully the girls behaved while watching a movie while I laid back down with Gabbie and I was able to sleep it away with the help of some meds.

Our day was ok. It had it's ups and downs. Then Piper started getting whiny and clingy and you probably guessed it. Ended up with a fever. Seriously!?! We tried to see if someone could take Alli to church because she was really wanting to go, but it didn't work out. So we all stayed home. Piper had a rough night and fell asleep shortly after 8. Alli went to bed about 10 and Gabbie is still awake nursing and talking. Which is better than an hour ago when she had some gas bubbles that were making her very unhappy.

I did get my office/craft room better organized. Half of the room is mine the other half holds the play kitchen and a few other toys. I now have it set up where the girls should know where to stay away from. Emphasis on should.

I have also made great strides in purging toys from closets and the play room. They are going to get donated and have made room for all the junk, I mean presents, that will find their way into our home over the holidays.

Now I'm off to carry on some more conversation with Gabbie. She's not appreciating it being one-sided.

Another late night blog

Right now I'm laying in bed listening to a snoring contest between my husband and my dog. It's not pleasant. I try to shake Michael to get him to turn or roll over or something, but he just whines that he can't help it and continues snoring away.

Life has been treating us well. Miss Gabriella is 3 months old. I know, right? When did that happen? She is growing so fast, but she is smaller than the other girls were at this age. Meaning I've had to buy her some warmer clothes because she can't fit into the ones we have from Alli & Piper.

Piper is a tall one. She has to wear 3T tops because she has a longer torso. She's got a few 2T pants that are too short for her too. Thank goodness for cinch waisted jeans or they wouldn't stay up.

Alli has always been in bigger clothes. I'm sad that she is in big girl clothes now because she is only 4! I want her to be able to dress like it.

Both of the big girls really enjoy school and are doing really well. Piper is working on potty training. We aren't trying to push it too much. We are letting her choose the pace. I will be super happy when we only have one in diapers again!

I have not purchased a single Christmas present yet, though I think I have a good start on my lists. Michael will be working Christmas this year so we are planning on Christmas day with my family at our house. I'm excited about it!!

Well the snoring has lessened from both parties. Hopefully I will be able to get to sleep before it starts up again.
