Back in the Swing of Things

Last week was Spring Break. It was a much needed break! I was blessed with the opportunity to fly up to Minnesota and spend some time with Dustin and Heather. We went on the search for bridesmaid dresses, and we found one that everyone liked! It was a wonderful trip. It was also my first time to fly in 5 1/2 years. I was a little apprehensive about going through security since I wasn't checking my bags. I did have a small slip coming home. In Dallas, they did not require you to pull out your little bags of liquid stuffs. In Minneapolis, they did! I ended up pulling a bra out while I was getting them out to scan. Nice!

Michael and the girls also went on a trip over Spring Break. They went to Branson with Michael's parents. They had a lot of fun getting to spend time with grandma and grandpa. Allisyn mastered the art of texting while they were away. My heart melted a little from the sweetness of her texts. She was so proud of herself too!

Today Allisyn went back to school. The little girls and I start back tomorrow. Tonight is our last night of FPU. We are still trucking along with our budgeting. It sucks sometimes, but we know we need to do it, and we know it will pay off in the long run. At least that is what we keep trying to tell ourselves!

Tomorrow I get to start the rest of this semester with a Chemistry test. I don't like taking tests after a break. I think I am ready for it, but there is always that feeling you will forget something over the break. I have become very thankful that I decided to take Nutrition online. Talking with some people who are not taking it online, it is much demanding in class!

Well I need to get back to books in preparation for my test tomorrow!
